Abstract
The research found that using social media was effective in digitalizing Kandri tourist village. By adopting the approach of "from the community, for the community," the management of Lerep tourist village created social media accounts and websites, conducted training sessions and offered joint counseling services related to tourism, the environment, waste, and agriculture. The community brought new ideas, and they displayed adequate skills in managing existing natural resources. The community empowerment process focused on social, cultural and economic aspects, and the community became the actor and determinant of the development of Lerep Tourism Village. The village government held a deliberation forum with the community to create local development programs.
