Abstract
Digital finance is of great significance to the Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) development, and when Small and medium-sized enterprises no longer receive the constraints of traditional financial models, the financialization of enterprises will follow. This paper analyzes the financialization of listed SMEs in China through an empirical analysis using the coverage breadth of the Peking University Digital Financial Inclusion Index of China. The study finds that the breadth of digital financial coverage has a positive and significant effect on the financialization of SMEs. This paper examines the impact of the digital era on the financialization of SMEs, bringing some insight into the digital finance development and the study of the financialization of SMEs.
