Abstract
Background and objectives: Many countries in the world experience multiple nutritional problems, namely stunting, wasting and overweight in children under five, and Indonesia is one of them. In the 1000 Days of First Life (HPK) movement, it has been explained that to tackle the problem of malnutrition, specific and sensitive interventions are needed. Specific interventions are carried out by the health sector such as the provision of vitamins, supplementary food, and others, while sensitive interventions are carried out by the non-health sector such as the provision of clean water facilities, food security, health insurance, poverty alleviation and so on. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of achievement of specific and sensitive indicators on 1000 HPK in Tegallalang District. Methods: This research design is a descriptive study with a household survey with a cross-sectional approach in 30 clusters with a total sample of 300 respondents. Results: In the implementation of the first 1000 days of life, especially in the level of achievement of specific interventions, pregnant women are exposed to cigarette smoke or passive smoking by 41%. At the level of achievement of sensitive indicators, especially the provision of clean water and sanitation in the application of the first 1000 days of life, only 20% access to clean water. The need for further research by adding or expanding other variables and developing research methods.
