Abstract

This paper covers several computer science research approaches. Understanding current trends and research technique flaws is essential in an age of rapid change and progress. We do a detailed literature review of various computer science magazines and conferences' research. Computer science research challenges are handled by quantitative, qualitative, hybrid approaches, and innovative methodologies. We classify and critically assess the techniques' strengths, shortcomings, and applicability. We demonstrate how diverse methods have been utilised to solve computer science research questions in their real-world applications. We test several methods in different situations to assist researchers and practitioners pick the best ones. We address future computer science research methodological directions in our assessment. We highlight areas that need more innovation to keep up with the field's rapid progress. We encourage researchers to try new things, challenge conventions, and try new methods that may lead to breakthroughs. Computer science researchers and practitioners need this extensive evaluation. It helps them understand the methodological context, make informed decisions, and design sound studies. By providing a comprehensive overview of research tactics and their applications, this paper enhances computer science research.
