Abstract
At present, traditional welding has the limitations of low efficiency, unstable quality, endangering the health of welders, and a weak ability to adapt to special operations. Intelligent welding robot has become an inevitable trend. This paper discusses the types of visual sensors and image processing algorithms in seam recognition and tracking, and defines the selection direction, advantages, and disadvantages of visual sensors. Starting from the stage of seam recognition and tracking, this paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of traditional and cutting-edge image processing algorithms and their application scenarios. Finally, the research results are summarized, and the relevant conclusions on the selection of sensors and algorithms are obtained, and the future development direction is projected. The analysis of this paper can provide a reference for related research.
