Abstract
Plant immunity represents a rapidly developing field in environmental protection and food safety. In this paper, we discuss the molecular mechanisms of plant immunity and describe how they promote plant health. Different infection patterns of pathogen and different defense responses of plant including pattern-triggered immunity (PTI) and effect-triggered immunity (ETI) are mainly talked. This review presents an integral understanding of plant-pathogen interactions and will help to gain our knowledge of plant microbial ecology.
