Abstract

Regional profile is a complete and detailed description of a particular region or region. The profile includes various information covering geographical, demographic, social, cultural, economic, infrastructure, natural resource potential, tourism, and other aspects relevant to the area. The research method is used to describe in detail the characteristics and conditions of an area while also using secondary data analysis methods. North Sumatra Province has an area of 72 981.23 ha.The majority religion is Islam, Gender of women is more than men, and are in the age range of 5-9 years. Madina Regency is the largest district. The Municipality of Medan has the highest Human Development Index score. The largest percentage of poor people live in West and South Nias, namely 25% - 26% of the total population in North Sumatra. Main commodities is rice, rubber, coffee, cocoa, rubber and cocoa.
