Abstract
In this paper, the traffic flow based safety analysis of ship nighttime navigation in Houshi Port is analyzed, including natural environment such as meteorology and hydrology, as well as navigation environment such as channels. The influence of night navigation on navigation safety is analyzed based on ship traffic flow. Finally, according to the factors affecting the safety of night navigation ships, the problems and risks of night navigation is given, and the corresponding security measures and suggestions are put forward. This study can help reduce maritime traffic risks, greatly improve port navigation safety, and help the construction of Xiamen international shipping center.
