Abstract
Asahan Regency has three leading sektors, namely the fishery forestry agriculture sektor, the processing industry sektor and other service sektors. The fisheries forestry agriculture sektor has an average LQ of 1.70 consistently in the last 5 years. The processing industry sektor has an LQ greater than one, which is an average of 5 years, which is 1.12. The other services sektor has an average LQ of 1.03% in the last 5 years. As for the other 14 sektors, the average LQ yield is smaller than 1 in the last 5 years, which means that the Asahan Regency area imports from outside the region
