Abstract
Researchers and practitioners have become interested in the significance of performance in rural social businesses. This study's objective was to investigate the effects of social entrepreneurship and transformational leadership on the financial performance of rural firms, specifically those owned by villages. Furthermore, this study also examines the mediation of social performance. A total of 217 respondents, namely BUMDes managers, participated in this study using a questionnaire survey. Data analysis with SEM Warp PLS shows that transformational leadership and Social success and financial performance are both positively correlated with social entrepreneurial attitude. Additionally, this study supports the idea that social performance might act as a mediator between transformational leadership and a social entrepreneurial mindset and the financial performance of BUMDes.
