Abstract
Acurrent development in the field of scientific education research is the use of android applications as teaching resources. The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether employing Android applications as teaching aids improves high school students' motivation for Plantae material. The posttest-pretest-control group design was adopted for the investigation. SMAN 1 Panombeian Panei, specifically in Simalungun Regency, which had one experimental class and one control class, served as the study's subject. using a Likert scale to collect data with a questionnaire about learning motivation. The collected data were examined to learn more about high school pupils' increased motivation for learning. The findings demonstrated that using Android applications as Plantae teaching resources can significantly improve high school students' motivation to learn.
