Abstract

In this paper, for a variety of food unit prices over a period of more than a year in the same region, the same kind of food with the same trend is studied by SOM neural network clustering algorithm, and the price curve is calculated smoothly by three indices to forecast food prices and trends. Food data comes from national data websites. The results show that there are recognizable categories of food products because of the policy, season and environmental factors received, and the same price trend of food products in the same category is predicted on the basis of which the prices of the next stage are predicted.
