Abstract
This article aims to review the relevance of the ASP concept in the Indonesian context. This review examined the guidelines for Graduate Competency Standards (SKL) and Learning Outcomes (CPL) formulated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2018 by adjusting the IQF. The method used is the descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the SKL and CPL Guidelines issued by the government are generally relevant to the implementation of ASP in the Arabic Language Education Study Program. The findings refer to the orientation of the expected goals both theoretically and practically. However, the study program manager has the autonomy to accommodate the concept or not because two more things must be done, namely, needs analysis to adjust the needs of the learners and the learning process is carried out with a Learner-Centred Approach.
