Abstract
The phenomenon of FoMO is increasingly attracting academic attention due to its significant impact on mental health, particularly in the context of social media use. This study aims to analyze global research trends and influential contributions related to the impact of FoMO on mental health. The results show that China is the most productive with 90 articles, no research has been conducted in Indonesia. The most frequently occurring keywords based on the defined terms are “FoMO,” followed by “Gender,” “Mental Health,” and “Psychology.” This analysis provides strategic insights for students, guidance counselors, researchers, and policymakers regarding the significant impact of FoMO on mental health. For guidance counselors in schools, addressing FoMO should be a key focus to ensure students' mental health remains intact, by designing and developing counseling techniques and therapies.
