Abstract
This study aims to develop an interactive multidisciplinary-based e-module for the General Indonesian Language course as an effort to improve students’ competence in scientific writing. The background of the study is the low scientific writing ability of students and the limited availability of teaching materials that have not yet accommodated the needs across study programs. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D;) approach with the 4D model (Define Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects were students of the English Literature and English Education Study Programs at Universitas Negeri Medan (the exact sample size is not stated in the provided abstract). Data were collected through observation, needs questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. Validation results showed that content and linguistic aspects obtained a feasibility score of 90%, while the visual design aspect obtained 86%, thus the module was declared feasible and relevant for students of various disciplines. This e-module is expected to be an innovative solution for more effective and flexible scientific writing learning in the digital era.
