Abstract

This study aims to develop a student information system that can improve the efficiency and accuracy of student data management at Medan State University. This system is designed to cover various student services such as biodata management, academic status, organizational activities, and digital-based administrative services. The development method used is the waterfall model, starting from the needs analysis stage, system design, software implementation, to the testing stage. The implementation results show that the system can be accessed online, is responsive to various devices, and is able to accelerate the process of administrative services such as submitting letters, recording student activities, and making reports. Validation by experts states that the system is feasible to use and has great potential to be integrated with other information systems within the university environment.
