Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the criminal responsibility of the perpetrators of online fraud. The research method used in this study uses a normative juridical method. The results of descriptive analysis had found that this fraudulent crime can be charged with Article 378 of the Criminal Code as a criminal act of fraud or Article 28 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law regarding the regulation regarding the spread of false and misleading news and has an impact on the loss of others.
