Abstract

Based on the assumption that the user nodes and relay node are equipped with multiple antennas, we propose the minimum mean squared error (MMSE) pre-equalization scheme to address the interference elimination issue for two-way AF MIMO relay systems. Compared to the zero-forcing (ZF) equalization and MMSE equalization, it is proved that MMSE pre-equalization scheme has the lowest noise power in MIMO system. Therefore, MMSE pre-equalization is adopted at transmit node in both multiple access phase and broadcast phase. The performance of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by numerical simulations.
