Abstract

Every organization is obliged to pay attention to the performance of its employees in order to improve organizational performance so that it can provide the best service to stakeholders. This research has the first objective to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style on job satisfaction, the second objective is to determine the impact of leadership on employee performance and the third objective is to determine the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance in cement companies operating in Jember. All 234 employees were used as the population. Meanwhile, samples were taken from half the population, namely 117 people. Descriptive analysis, measuring instrument testing, and hypothesis testing were used in this research. The research results show that leadership style has an influence on employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.456. Leadership style influences job satisfaction with a coefficient of 0.387. The third result is that job satisfaction has an impact on employee performance at PT. Imasco Asiatik Jember with a coefficient value of 0.309.
