Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) has had a profound influence on the accounting profession's landscape. AI transforms the way accountants operate by allowing them to digest data fast, discover trends, and make informed judgments. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of AI on the accounting profession and the implications for their jobs and responsibilities. In this research, we discuss the fundamental ideas of artificial intelligence (AI), such as machine learning, natural language processing, and cognitive computing, as well as how AI is used in accounting. We highlight several advantages of AI in the accounting profession, such as greater efficiency and accuracy, real-time data processing, and improved analytical skills. However, there are some negative consequences to consider, such as the possibility of replacing the work.
