Abstract
This study explores the integration of Indonesian local culture and English language through project-based learning to enhance students' writing skills. The project involved creating an English minibook with locally relevant cultural content, supported by tools like Google Translate, Quillbot, and Grammarly. Conducted with 65 participants in an English writing course using a classroom action research design, the study employed diverse instruments, including writing assessments, project templates, observation checklists, and reflective journals. Findings reveal significant improvements in students' writing skills and highlight the broader benefits of cultural integration in learning. The approach not only boosted motivation and engagement but also deepened students' appreciation for their cultural heritage and diversity. This research underscores the value of culturally relevant projects in fostering holistic development, enriching both language proficiency and cultural understanding
