Abstract
Small and Medium Enterprises play important role in the economy in the world, not only in developed countries but also developing countries, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred contributed to the acceleration of digitalisation of SMEs so that there were fundamental changes in business activities. These changes require a more comprehensive measurement of business performance than just financial performance. Accuracy in measuring business performance plays a major role in helping business sustainability and developing future strategies to optimise business performance. The concept of SMEs going upmarket will not be achieved without the right measure of business performance. This research uses a systematic literature review approach in evaluating business performance measurements that have been carried out in various parts of the world. This research uses 20 reputable articles that have been adjusted to the research needs. In practice, business performance measurement needs to be done with financial and non-financial approaches.
