Abstract
There is a video showing "Revealing the Other Side of Paid Polygamy Mentoring" by Narasi Newsroom which contains an interview with Kiai Hafidin as a paid polygamy mentor. The discourse built in the video contains the utterances of Kiai Hafidin and his polygamous wives. This study focuses on dismantling the forms of domination of power contained in the discourse through the utterances of Kiai Hafidin and his polygamous wives. Data collection in this study used a listening and note-taking technique with data in the form of utterances or statements from Kiai Hafidin and his polygamous wives. The data found were analyzed using Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis approach which focuses on macro analysis. These data are described by qualitative descriptive methods. The findings of the dominance of power in this study are traditional power, legal power, and charismatic power.
