Abstract
This study aims to describe the Case Method: Analysis of students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The data collection technique in this study used a literature study. The literature studies used are journals, books, articles. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques to analyze the data by describing the data that has been collected. Students' mathematical understanding falls into the low category because there are still many who do not understand the aims and objectives of learning due to lack of mastery of the concepts of the material presented. In delivering the concept, the teacher should include examples of questions that lead to and relate to various mathematical concepts and classify mathematical objects with the Case Method so that students will find more meaning in the information provided through cases, students will learn to think more sharply with the evidence of their findings, analyze themselves, and apply it in other cases by comparing different situations and cases. Currently the most controversial is the application of the case method in learning.
