Abstract

Since the IEEE 802.16 standard has been defined for wireless technology, there have been many efforts to analyze and evaluate the performance of IEEE 802.16 networks. In this paper, we present an ns-2 simulation module for IEEE 802.16 uplink scheduling. We describe in detail the algorithm used, and validate our module through simulations of a typical network architecture.
