Abstract

Non coherent differential systems for UWB transmission is a very attractive solution from a practical point of view. In this paper we propose a new multiple access frame differential direct sequence (DS) UWB system. We propose to use different number of frames for each user with the same bit period. Noise and multiaccess interference terms are significantly reduced. Receiver structure has a very low complexity. It's composed of a delay line, a multiplier, an integrator and a comparator to zero. In addition to that, acquisition time is periodic and integration window is fixed in the proposed scheme. Simulation results and theoretical expressions show a good performance in multiple access transmission
