Abstract

Based on the WINNER-CDL channel model, the space-time-frequency characteristics of the 3D MIMO channels are studied and simulated in this paper. The closed from expressions of the space-time correlation and frequency correlation of the 3D MIMO channel as the function of the physical parameters are firstly derived and analyzed mathematically. Then deep simulations are conducted to evaluate and compare the correlation for different physical parameters and different propagation scenarios. The numerical simulation results show the dependence of correlation on elevation angle of departure(EAoD), azimuth angle of departure (AAoD) time delay ,the speed of the mobile station(MS)and polarization, ect.
