Abstract

The signal of a hypersonic spacecraft entering the earth’s atmosphere may be lost at a certain altitude transitorily. This phenomenon is called ‘blackout’, which is an important performance of aircraft design. Recently, with the development of the near spacecraft, the communication techniques under the plasma environment are more and more important, with the realization of which can we record, monitor, track and capture the near spacecraft. In this paper, we put forward an idea based on that the radiation from the terahertz communication system can penetrate the plasma sheath, to provide the theoretical basis for real-time communicating with the near spacecraft.
