Abstract

OFDMA based future IMT Advanced system is viable to meet Multiband-Bandwidth UE coexistence compared with the CDMA based system. In this paper, Multi-Bandwidth UE coexistence is firstly analyzed from multi-RF Carrier requirement, common control resources arrangement, and forward and backward compatibility side. Then key method, which are downlink protection band using, radio resource allocation, and carrier adjustment related to Multiband-Bandwidth UE coexistence, is given.
