Abstract
The convergence of concepts from context-aware computing with adaptive networking has enabled the possibility of creating context-aware networks for ubiquitous computing. We focus on the practical aspects of their realization and look at the performance of a reasoner in processing and aggregating context information within such networks. Although the work we describe here is focused on a specific application domain, the preliminary results we present may be useful to designers of other ubiquitous computing systems and networks in general.
