Abstract
In grid computing, resource management has been paid a great deal of attention. Market-based mechanisms such as auctions are being studied as an appropriate means. In order to promote the user transaction positivity it is required to manage the bidding policy of the agent. Therefore, we introduce the budget factor and risk factor in auction mechanism for grid resource management. On one hand, the grid auction system can reach temporary balance state by selecting an appropriate budget factor. Furthermore, the convergence speed of the system becomes fast. On the other hand, we have resolved the users' preference by risk factor. At last, we illustrate that the choice of the budget factor and risk factor is very important in our algorithm.
