Abstract

There is a market need for higher data rates than that offered by WiMAX. An algorithm that will greatly enhance, up to several times, the downlink data rate of WiMAX is proposed in this paper. We propose to use a SDMA signaling scheme over each tone with multi-user diversity based on inter-user correlations.
