Abstract

The purpose of the developmental project “Dance with the future” is to test a new professional area for educators and social workers, and at the same time to offer teachers within this educational sector a novel opportunity for personal and professional growth. This project is targeted for teachers in education and caregiving at Danish University College North (UCN) and is being evaluated by means of a qualitative case study, which is described in the present paper. The scientific documentation will collect evidence for the application of arts-based facilitation tools in change processes, and on opportunities to foster creativity and innovation at UCN. The social technologies applied draw from Expressive Arts therapy and systems thinking, respectively through means of arts-based coaching and Theory U.
