Abstract
In the diffusion-limited reaction process + → ∅ on random scale-free networks, particle density decays as () ~ when (0) = (0), where > 1 for the degree exponent 2 < < 3 and = 1 for ≤ 3. We investigate the reaction on fractal scale-free networks numerically, finding () decays slowly with the exponent ≈ / 4 < 1, where is the spectral dimension of the network.
