Abstract
This paper discusses a new approach of a Decision System to be used in Speaker Authentication applications, with particular emphasis on security systems with a small programming data set. This decision system is based on the adjoining of a matched filter response of the two compared signals considering the position of the maximum onto the abscissa of the response graph and afterwards, the use of Kullback – Leibler divergence for comparing the Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients’ statistical distribution of the password and input speech signal.
