Abstract

Ultra-Dense Network (UDN) can improve the system capacity and satisfy the increasing data traffic demands, and is considered as a candidate technology in the fifth generation (5G) networks. UDN has a smaller cell radius and a new network structure, so it needs some more efficient resource management methods. The characteristic of the smaller cell radius makes the mobility management more difficult. This paper creatively proposes a novel scheme with concurrent Mobility Load Balancing (MLB) among multi-cell in UDN. Simulation results show that our proposed method is more balanced than the traditional method.
