Abstract
Traffic intensification in Slovakia is an effect of economic development of the country. Traffic development in limited capacities of road infrastructure produces delays in traffic congestions. Congestions are becoming the problem mostly for companies which has to deal with its serious impact on established supply rules due to the extension of delivery time. This article points to effects of congestions on safety stock level change which is necessary for stabilization of assembling systems.
