Abstract
Innovativeness and subsequent technology transfer is essential for universities and research institutions in order to remain competitive. However, Slovak universities or research institutions have not been successful in these transfer initiatives. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the current technology transfer activities of the University of Žilina in Žilina as well as propose recommendations in order to ensure further successful and sustainable technology transfer.
