Abstract

This study introduces a new approach in forecasting the brown plant hopper (BPH) infection levels using the set-valued decision rules. The experiment was conducted in two scenarios, and was supported by the tool SSBPH – the tool is developed by authors. The experimental results help the agricultural managers process information on BPH, forecast the infection of BPH, and give the recommendation to farmers.
