Abstract

The substantial growth in technology with multi-featured devices, wireless networks and interacting computing infrastructure has increased the demand of ubiquitous services. A ubiquitous service, unlike other service is decided by the system without user requests or interventions. The system uses different contexts such as user context, device context, network context, and many others to decide accurate services for the user. In this work, we design a technique to identify the required services for the visitors in the museum environment by considering the context of the visitors and their surrounding environment. The technique acquires the required context information and formulates which leads to . We use these to identify the visitor’s required service. The designed technique has been tested in the museum environment with variety of exhibits and services. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the technique.
