Abstract
This paper presents the test platform NESSEE that can be used for reproducing network behavior in large-scale experiments with distributed systems. The main target group of our platform consists of companies that require an easy-to-use in-house emulation environment for testing their developed applications. In our scenario we use NESSEE to test the video conferencing software of our industry partner Citrix. We illustrate this with examples from scalability, functional and network testing. The evaluation of the concepts shows its applicability in other scenarios as well.
