Abstract
The digital avatar realized in the metaverse is a restoration of individual information data from the real world in virtual space. The digital avatars constructed by data are directly connected with their real selves and can directly affect each other in real time during information processing. Therefore, the rights and interests of personal data are more vulnerable to infringement in virtual space. In view of the personal rights and interests of minors closely related to their online identity and image, this paper discusses the application of the right to be forgotten system in the real world under the circumstance where the digital avatar in the metaverse acts as the subject, and whether the right to be forgotten can be applied to the digital avatar as well as the personal data, so as to provide stronger protection for minors.
