Abstract
The GenCat Mobile Coverage app is designed to collect information on the mobile telephone network coverage in Catalonia. Through an Android app, citizens can contribute to this initiative by recording data. The dataset compiled by the platform offers a comprehensive view of the data collected between 2015 and 2017, encompassing 20 features with 11,744,914 observations. This research aims to predict signal strengths of the mobile network in Catalonia using various factors, including location, network supplier, signal strength and other relevant features.
