Abstract
Under the background of English reform in China, it is inevitable for EGP teachers to transform into ESP teachers. Based on the examination and reflection of the current situation of English Teaching in higher vocational colleges, this paper analyzes the difficulties faced by the transformation, puts forward the strategies for EGP teachers to transform into ESP teachers, and points out that the transformation can be completed by determining the direction of transformation, self-learning and promotion, and cooperating with professional teachers.
