Abstract

At present, the post-90s undergraduates are the main group to use new media, and their network media literacy is highly concerned by academic circles. The paper analyzes the current situation of the undergraduates’ network literacy from several universities in Guangzhou in three aspects including channel of network contact, media literacy awareness, and understanding and critical ability for information sources of the post-90s university students, and finds out that the post-90s university students have a certain judgement for the media resources, but they lack critical thinking and critical abilities for media resources from the multiple perspectives.
