Abstract

A new two-step phase-shifting phase retrieval method is put forward to recover the real phase of the measured object through the orthogonal characteristics of the diamond diagonal vectors from three phase shift interference fringe patterns whose phase shifts are random and unknown. From the results of both simulation and experiment prove that the proposed method can obtain the phase to be measured with fast speed and high accuracy.
