Abstract

We present a novel approach to incorporating Software-Defined Networking (SDN) in networked embedded systems where the nodes have limited capabilities and the wireless links have limited bandwidth. The SDN controller was implemented on a Beagle Black board. The approach was validated through simulations and experiments on a physical testbed.
