Abstract

Disruption-tolerant networks (DTN) are very useful in situations that links are unstable and bandwidth is precious, i.e. inter satellite links. Both distance and the size of transmitted bundles can affect the performance of network. As the distance of two satellites is predictable, we can optimize the size of bundle to achieve shorter delivery time. In this paper, we proposed a Markov method to optimize bundle size and tried to simplify the algorithm and improve its performance.
