Abstract
In cognitive radio (CR), single-threshold detection is sensitive to the noise power. In this paper, a cooperative detection algorithm with double-threshold and energy statistic weighing is proposed in order to improve sensing performance of the global detection at the coordinator. Two thresholds which are decided by the restriction probability are adopted to improve the performance of the cooperative detection, and energy combining based on weighing is used to improve the performance of the detection in confusion area. Simulation shows that the proposed scheme outperforms cooperative detection with single-threshold and single detection with single-threshold in detection accuracy.
