The aim of CHINACOM is to bring together Chinese and international researchers and practitioners in communications, networking and information technologies to showcase the latest advances in these areas. Following the big successes of CHINACOM'06-'10, CHINACOM'11 will be held in Harbin, China, one of the most beautiful cities in China, on Aug. 17-19 2011. The conference will be technically sponsored by Create-Net and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). CHINACOM is developing into a premier annual international conference for the presentation of original research advances in the field of communications, networking and advance information technologies. The conference will consist of four technical symposia, panels, workshops and tutorials. The technical sessions will present original research of fundamental or practical significance, while the panels and workshops will focus on recent developments, emerging applications, related business issues, and special topics. Original contributions on recent advances in testbed developments and design and experimental evaluations of systems and subsystems are particularly encouraged.

The evolution of heterodyne efficiency with the change of rms of primary aberrations is investigated. It is shown that heterodyne efficiency decreases gradually with increasing primary aberrations. The comparison shows that different aberration types have variant influence on heterodyne efficiency. In addition, obscuration ratio of receiver antenna has a noticeable but relatively minor influence on heterodyne efficiency. We hope this work can benefit system design of heterodyne receiver in free-space coherent communications.

The uniform measurement of the system loads, the principle and steps of handoff-based load balancing algorithm are described for the heterogeneous systems with unequal user capacities. The load relation between TD-SCDMA and GSM systems carrying asymmetric services is classified into four cases. For each case, trigger condition of handoff operation, the traffic volume to be migrated and the criteria of selecting users to be migrated are analyzed. Simulation results show that the algorithm can make the loads of the systems more balanced and the performance of the system with higher load is improved effectively.

To improve the spectrum-efficiency, one of the promising techniques is multiple input multiple output (MIMO) multiplexing technique. However, the space of one user terminal is limited, and it is difficult to accommodate more antennas in one terminal. Thus, cooperative communication is proposed, to achieve diversity and multiplexing gain via different user terminals. In this paper, a cooperative-MIMO based on multi-code direct sequence code-division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system is presented, which improves the spectrum efficiency a lot. However, the severely fading channel degrades the bit error rate (BER) performance of the proposed system significantly. The paper provided a frequency-domain iterative inter-code interference (ICI) combined with parallel interference cancellation (PIC) technology (ICP), which makes it possible to eliminate the interference between antennas and the residual inter-code interference between codes. From the simulation results, it is derived that the proposed method improves BER performance and the throughput of the system significantly.

Cooperative multiple input multiple output (Co-MIMO) is a kind of MIMO technique, where the multiple inputs and outputs are formed via cooperation. The capacity of Co-MIMO system over wireless channel has been investigated a lot, however few papers pay attention to the effect of antenna spatial correlation and the number of Multi-path to the capacity of MIMO channel. This paper focuses on this problem. Simulation results show that cooperation between different terminals can reduce antenna spatial correlation, thereby increase the capacity and throughput of the system, and even reach the ideal capacity of MIMO system. Meanwhile, the number of multi-path Rayleigh fading does not affect the channel capacity.

SC-FDE (Single-Carrier Frequency-Domain Equalization) is becoming a research hotspot in wideband wireless communication area because of its special predominance. In recent years, the research on SC-FDE develops quickly. We take a study on feasibility of building SC-FDE system by comparing performance with OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing). This paper takes a study on a dual-mode (DD-LMS+MCMA) blind equalization algorithm applied in a single-carrier system. And then we build the simulation model of image transmission in SC-FDE system and get the direct and better result through the comparative analysis of image.
